Sampling the foods in Dublin

I have been back from Dublin, Ireland after having stayed there for 2 months and I'm starting to really miss the place. Two months may not be enough to sample all the foods there but these are some that I have tried out:

Traditional Irish breakfast at Quay's Irish Restaurant, Temple Bar area. It consist of Irish bacon or rashers, sausages, egg, potatoes, baked beans, bread, white and black pudding.

My version of gourmet dinner: Fish cake, asparagus with butter and coleslaw. I bought everything at Tesco's, a grocery near my apartment. I love asparagus!
Some of my other recommendations include the butter croissant from Spar, Chicken and Bacon wrap and a glass of Hot Angel (white chocolate) from Insomnia Coffee, corned beef from M&S, roasted chicken from Supervalu and the Garlic and Cheese fries from Supermacs.

    Dublin is always bubbling with activity during the day and also during the night. There are lots of cafes and pubs all over the city which provide excellent eating out spots.

    There are really lots of wonderful places to explore here. Even at night it is lively. Not only that, as you said foods are really delicious.

    Eire was the first country I visited when I was quite young. The Temple Bar area near Trinity was not then known for being a hot spot for tourists--it was then a place where families grubbed for a living, and small children begged on the street. Much has changed! I loved the bangers and mash--esp. the "black sausage"--I must have cooked that a half dozen times. The best food was in the pubs, with Guinness. And, of course, the tea shops, a place to stop and write in my journal.

      We lived in the area that is very near Temple Bar. It could get a bit noisy at night but it where you see a lot of tourists. But I also love exploring it during the day, when the it is quiet and you can just relax and enjoy your meal

    I, too, liked bangers and mash, their "black sausage," and meals in pubs (along with a pint of Guinness!), I'd often stop in tea shops to write in my journal. The tea over here just does not compare!
